LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Former state Sen. Gretchen Whitmer, the Democratic candidate for Michigan governor, will pick Garlin Gilchrist II for her running mate, WLNS capitol correspondent Tim Skubick is reporting.
Whitmer will make her choice official in a Monday morning announcement in Lansing, according to WOOD TV8's Lansing sister station.
