KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office has decided not to appeal a Michigan Court of Appeals decision to suppress Jason Dalton’s statements to police.
The prosecutor’s office stated in a release that while it doesn’t agree with the Court of Appeals decision, it does not want to further delay Dalton’s trial.
Dalton is charged with shooting 8 people, six of whom died, in a shooting spree in Kalamazoo in on Feb. 20, 2016.
