BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Now is your chance to own a piece of the Battle Creek Police Department.
The agency is auctioning off items and furnishings from its old home at 20 N. Division Street online. Among the items: file cabinets, lockers, office furniture, a flat screen TV and a safe.
Auction host Biddergy said some "seized assets" will also be up for bid during the online sale, which is scheduled for Aug. 16. Those interested can check out the items in person the day prior, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the old headquarters.
The BCPD celebrated the opening of its new headquarters at 34 N. Division Street Wednesday afternoon.
