MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — The remaining 15 criminal charges against Jeffrey Willis, already convicted of two murders, have been dismissed.
He will not stand trial on kidnapping, assault and weapons charges linked to the attempted abduction of a teen girl in the spring of 2016 — the case that led to his arrest. Also dismissed were multiple counts of making child pornography, surveilling an unclothed person and using a computer to commit a crime that were filed after authorities said Willis recorded his underage neighbors.
He is already serving two life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of Jessica Heeringa and Rebekah Bletsch. Heeringa vanished from the Norton Shores gas station where she worked in the spring of 2013.
