PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a man shot and killed his wife then shot himself at their home in Ottawa County early Tuesday morning.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 3:45 a.m. in the 15000 block of Barry Street east of 152nd Avenue in Port Sheldon Township.
When authorities arrived on scene, deputies say a 53-year-old woman was found dead and a 55-year old man had a gunshot wound to the face. Investigators believe the man shot and killed his wife then turned the gun on himself.
