CHESHIRE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a 32-year-old man drowned Monday in an Allegan County lake.
It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at Eagle Lake off 102nd Avenue in Cheshire Township, southwest of Allegan.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was with family members in Eagle Lake when he went too far out in the lake. Family members lost sight of the man but were able to find him and bring him to shore.
