ASHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) -- Flames broke out at Riveridge Cider Company in Newaygo County Tuesday evening.
Dispatchers said the call came in around 9:30 p.m. for a fire at cider producers facility, located on Ferris Avenue just west of M-37 in Ashland Township, west of Grant.
Thirteen fire departments were called in to battle the flames, according to dispatchers.
Crews battled the flames until 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in what they say was a defensive fire fight.
