GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) -- Argentinian born Gretchen Minnhaar, one of the contributing architects of the Amway Grand Hotel has died.
According to staff at Metcalf & Jonkhoff funeral service, Minnhaar died Friday at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, retired cardiac surgeon Louis Tomatis, their daughter and two grandchildren.
