GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This could not only be the hottest Memorial Day ever in West Michigan, it should also be close to the hottest day we've ever had in the month of May.
The record is a 95-degree reading on May 31, 1934.
High temperatures will continue to be unseasonably warm the first part of this week with readings in the low to mid-90s in inland areas of lower Michigan and only areas getting a wind off a Great Lake holding in the 70s.
