LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Three people were killed in a crash Saturday in St. Joseph County.
It happened around 2:18 a.m. on Fairchild Road near Klinger Lake Road, south of Centreville.
Authorities said a vehicle was traveling east on Fairchild Road when the driver lost control while going around a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the road and strike a tree. The force of the crash caused the vehicle to split in half and killed the three people in it.
