MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — A memorial ride was held Saturday in Muskegon to raise money and honor the lives of nearly 30 dogs killed in a kennel fire.
Dozens of motorcyclists came out to ride in the All Dogs Go to Heaven Memorial Run with hopes to upgrade a Muskegon dog park.
In March, the Storm's Ahead Kennels caught fire after many families dropped off their pets to leave for spring vacations, killing as many as 30 dogs. The ride was inspired by the animals lost in the blaze.
