GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Fuel prices for boats are up this year compared to last year, but it isn’t expected to keep boaters away.
Tom McMahon, sales manager at Grand Isle Marina SkipperBud’s in Grand Haven, said the average fuel prices in the area will be around $4.20 a gallon and about $3.50 for diesel. Prices are up about $.20 a gallon more compared to last year.
He said all marinas are most likely going to run within a 10 to 15 cent difference compared to the average price.
