BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating after a body was found in the trunk of a vehicle in Battle Creek Monday.
The Battle Creek Police Department said officers were called around 9:40 a.m. to Tigers Towing after the vehicle’s owner found the body.
As of Monday morning, police said the victim’s death appears to be suspicious. Authorities have not released the person’s identity.
The Battle Creek Police Department’s Detective Bureau continues to investigate the case, but police said they don’t believe there is any danger to the public.v
