WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A broken water main in Wyoming has been repaired, but a boil water advisory remains in effect Friday.
The water main along Clyde Park Avenue near 28th Street was repaired Friday. Water was turned back on around 1:45 a.m. Friday. It comes after the water main broke around 3 p.m. Thursday.
Clyde Park Avenue is still closed north of 28th Street as crews work to repair the road.
City officials say the boil water advisory remains in effect for nearby residents until further notice.
Thursday, witnesses described a gushing geyser of water. The owner of nearby business Flowerland, Rick Vuyst, said the back of his building and parking lot were flooded. He said he rushed customers out of the store to move their cars from the lot.
