GRATTAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Authorities in Kent County are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl.
Ava Jae Mallindine was last seen around 10 a.m. Sunday when she walked away from the area of 5 Mile Road and Murry Lake Avenue in Grattan Township, northeast of Grand Rapids.
Mallindine is described to be around 5-foot-5 and 180 pounds with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing shorts, a navy blue sweatshirt and white Ked tennis shoes.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office says she has made threats to harm herself.
