DALLAS (WOOD) — The Detroit Lions traded up to select Auburn running back Kerryon Johnson with the No. 43 pick in the NFL Draft.
Johnson was a second-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-SEC his junior year at Auburn. He finished the season with 1,391 yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games.
In Round 3, Detroit picked safety Tracy Walker from Louisiana-Lafayette with the 82nd overall pick.
