BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities have identified a body that was found in Lake Michigan near the shoreline in Berrien County Friday.
The Benton Township Police Department were called around 9:30 a.m. for a report of a body that washed up near the shoreline in Rocky Gap Park.
Investigators identified the body as Ralph Ford of White Pigeon. He was first reported missing on April 10 when he was last seen on his dock at Brian’s Marina in St. Joseph, according to a St. Joseph Public Safety Department news release.
The body was taken to an area hospital. At this time, authorities say there is no evidence of foul play.
