River Bank Events and Media, LLC will take over the annual Fifth Third River Bank Run this year, as Fifth Third Bank steps down from ownership to a co-sponsorship.
Amway and Spectrum Health will also sponsor the event alongside Fifth Third Bank, all of which intend on being heavily involved with the event that brings 50,000 runners and spectators to Grand Rapids each year.

The tradition continues with the 41st Fifth Third River Bank Run in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Featuring the largest 25K road race in the country, the event is also site of the USA 25 km Open Championships. More than 16,000 people are expected to participate on event day including a 25K, 25K Relay, 25K Handcycle & Wheelchair race, 10K, 5K and a 5K Community Walk.
