GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids say four teens were arrested for allegedly stealing guns from a Cabela’s store in Grandville.
Police say the thefts happened early Saturday morning at the store located at 3000 44th Street Southwest.
Around 5:10 p.m., police were called to the area of Baxter Street and Diamond Avenue after a report of shots fired. Grand Rapids Police Lieutenant Terry Dixon said police got a vehicle description after the shots were fired. Officers stopped the vehicle at 28th Street and Englewood Avenue about 10 minutes after the shots fired call.
Police say several teens took off running during the stop. Three of them were taken into custody, but police were not able to arrest at least one of the other suspects.
