GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman was injured when a car hit a business in Grand Haven.
It happened around 9:51 a.m. Wednesday at Jeske Roger Pool Services, located at 225 N. Ferry Street, according dispatchers.
Ottawa County dispatchers initially said one person was being transported to the hospital as a “priority one” patient and two others were being treated as priority three patients. However, it turned out no one was seriously hurt.
A woman inside the building at the time of the crash told 24 Hour News 8 she was “banged up” and taken to the hospital, but had since been released. Two people inside the car were not hurt.
The driver said she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. She said she received her driver’s permit last week.
The driver said she delivers the local newspaper. Normally her friend drivers her, but Wednesday she was driving her friend’s vehicle, she said.
