An Australian businessman has fallen to his death whilst parasailing in waters off the resort island of Thailand.
The prominent Perth 71-year-old was holidaying with his wife, who filmed the fatal fall.
According to Thai media, Roger John Hussey plunged more than 30 metres into the sea after his harness apparently failed.
Around 13 seconds into the flight Mr Hussey is seen falling from the air and into the sea.
The Perth man was pulled from the water alive but died a short time later. There are reports the boat operator and driver have been charged with reckless driving causing death.
