Police in Kalamazoo say a motorcyclist was killed in crash Wednesday.
It happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Lovers Lane and East Cork Street. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a southbound motorcyclist was struck by a northbound car that was turning west onto Cork.
The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old whose name was not released Wednesday night, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police on scene told 24 Hour News 8 the driver of the car, who was not hurt, is cooperating.
The crash remains under investigation. The motorcyclist was hearing a helmet and alcohol does not appear to have been a factor, police say.
