Grand Rapids police are investigating a shooting that wounded two men on the city’s southeast side.
It happened around 11 a.m. Monday. Officers say two 22-year-old men were walking in the area of Neland Avenue and Prince Street SE when they were shot. A man repairing his car reported hearing four to five shots.
One of the victims ran to a house near Neland Avenue and Prince Street with a gunshot wound to the waist area, police said. The other man ran to a home near Alto Avenue near Franklin Street with a gunshot wound to the leg area.
Sgt. Terry Dixon said authorities are looking for a gray car, possibly a Chevrolet Impala seen leaving the scene. A police K-9 was brought in to try to track down suspects.
