The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Missing Person-Involuntary.Jamal Marcus Parker, 31 years of age, was last seen running away from the 1500 block of Broadway Ave NW on Sunday, February 12, around 3:00-3:30 am. A report was made with the Grand Rapids Police Department regarding Mr. Parker later in the evening hours on the same day. The Grand Rapids Police Department was contacted on Monday, February 13, regarding a shoe located by the Grand River near Ann St NW. It has not been confirmed if the shoe belongs to Mr. Parker. Jamal Parker is 5’4” to 5’5”, weighs 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He has a scar near his right temple.He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black sweatshirt, medium blue colored jeans, and black Air Force One’s shoes.The Michigan State Police Aviation Unit and the Kent County Sheriff’s Department Marine Unit have been requested to assist in the search.
