A pattern of complaints coupled with unresponsiveness led the Better Business Bureau serving Western Michigan to issue a consumer alert about HiTe Media Group. The company lists its address at a UPS store, 1887 Holton Road in North Muskegon. The Muskegon Chronicle reports, complaints come from grant seekers who paid $1,200-$7,500 to information that would help them receive grants for $80,000-$85,000. Representatives of HiTe told people it would take 90 days to two years to receive the grants. "The information was worthless," said Phil Catlett, president of BBB serving Western Michigan.
