Gilda's Club seeks volunteers ahead of annual Gilda's LaughFest event

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Gilda's Club Grand Rapids says it needs volunteers to help it prepare for this year's LaughFest event.

The 15th annual event runs March 5 through March 9 and will feature more than 40 free and ticketed shows in Grand Rapids, Lowell and at Gun Lake Casino in Wayland Township. General volunteers can help with ushering, ticket-taking collecting donations.

Here is more information from a Seyferth PR news release:

Specialized volunteers are needed to photograph events (Photo  Team); move supplies and people (Transportation Team); office staff; and more.

Those interested in volunteering can register at laughfestgr.org/volunteer/. Training orientation will be provided for new and returning volunteers from 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 28 and 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 1.

LaughFest 2025 will include over 40 free and ticketed shows venues in Grand Rapids, Lowell and Wayland’s Gun Lake Casino and Resort.

Proceeds from LaughFest and LaughFest’s High Five campaign support the free cancer and grief emotional health program offered through Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
