Suspect in Bloom Credit Union robbery booked into jail on unrelated charges

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Grand Rapids Police say the Kent County Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against the suspect in the January 6 holdup at the Bloom Credit Union.

That occurred around 10 a.m. that day on Plainfield Avenue.

The suspect took off without getting any money. Police say 41-year-old Donald Brubaker was booked into the Kent County Correctional Facility on related charges.

Arraignment on the bank robbery charge was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
