Heart of West Michigan United Way is giving funding to Grand Rapids households that are dealing with the aftermath of a major water main break this summer.
The city helped the group find the households that were impacted and were still dealing with issues.
United Way says the one-time gift helps alleviate burdens for the families and provide immediate relief in the recovery process.
The water main break happened on June 13 and affected almost 200 homes.
