GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Exodus Place is trying to raise thousands of dollars to pay its mortgage through a unique fundraiser.
Facilities Manager Chip Kroblan has been on the building's roof for more than a week and says he won't get down until their goal is met.
He's trying to raise $836,000.
As of this morning, they've raised just past $20,000.
"It hasn’t been too bad (and) the weather has been cooperating, but I would rather have it snow than rain,” Kroblan told WOOD-TV.
Exodus Place works to help men transition out of homelessness.
Kroblan came to Exodus Place initially as a member, accepting services to turn his life around.
