22-year-old Jaren Sabala of Holland was taken into custody after being charged for reckless driving and assault with a dangerous weapon.
According to a news release, at around 11:54 PM last night, deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of two vehicles crashing into each other while driving westbound on Adams Street near Black River Drive in Holland Township.
After the initial crash, it was determined Sabala became upset and intentionally rammed his car into the rear of the other vehicle being driven by a 39-year-old woman.
The incident remains under investigation and Sabala has since been released from custody with a $5,000 bond.
