WYOMING, Mich. --Investigators say three adopted children were tortured for more than a decade at their Wyoming home.
But it's over now.
WOOD-TV reports 56-year-old Alan Jeffrey Jones and 57-year-old Kris Kathryn Jones were formally charged today with three counts each of torture and first-degree child abuse. The children allegedly were forced to eat dog food, were forced to run for miles and sleep in a garage after they were adopted more than a decade ago.
The attorney representing Kris Jones said the couple is innocent.
