Habitat for Humanity of Kent County is currently working on a major project that will create 27 new affordable housing units.
The Pleasant Hills project will be located in the Roosevelt Park neighborhood. The project was moved further forward today when the Grand Rapids Planning Commission approved a rezoning request and a construction approval request from Habitat Kent.
It will take place in two phases and will consist of a duplexes and townhomes.
