Cannonsburg Ski Area is officially open for the season on account of the long awaited cold and frigid weather.
The ski area will be open Thursday and Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM. On weekends it will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM.
Even so, ski goers are encouraged to take advantage of the weather this weekend, since not only warmer weather, but rain, is expected to make an appearance next week.
