Beers at the Bridge concert set for July 21 at Ada's Legacy Park

ADA, Mich. -- The Megan Rae Band will perform Friday, July 21 at the Beers at the Bridge summer concert series at Legacy Park in Ada.

It's hosted by the Ada Township Downtown Development Authority and organizers says it is a family-friendly event where guests can enjoy locally-brewed craft beer and other beverages, food and music.

It's the second of the three-part summer concert series at the park, 7430 River St.

According to a news release, food will be available for purchase from a variety of local establishments including Ada Fresh Market, Garage Bar & Grill, Luna and MudPenny. And volunteers will be serving up beer and other beverages from Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery and Railtown Brewing Company; beverages are available through purchase of tickets.

Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery offerings include:

·         Blackwater Dark Lager

·         Cascadia Pale Ale

·         Dam Good IPA

·         GBCB Sangria

·         Razzle Dazzle Cider

Railtown Brewing Company offerings include:

·         Bike Ride Blonde

·         Shadyside IPA

River Street, which runs alongside the Thornapple River will be closed during the event, allowing space for guests to safely walk about the area and enjoy all the concert has to offer.

The final Beers at the Bridge concert will take place on August 18 with a performance by local favorite The Thirsty Perch Blues Band.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to help at the July and August Beers At The Bridge events. There are shifts available in a variety of times and roles, from event setup to working with vendors to being on site to assist guests during the evening.
