MJW Real Estate Holdings LLC has purchased J. Gardella's Tavern according to city property sales records.
The $1.1 million deal for one of the oldest storefronts in Grand Rapids' historic district closed on December 6.
MJW Real Estate Holdings LLC is operated by Michael Winks.
Winks says the space will be renovated for a new bar and restaurant concept.
