ARLINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Pinned between a toppled 6,220-pound Bobcat tractor and a pickup truck, Kenneth LaGrange begged his friend for help.
"I thought he was going to die," his friend, Edgar Mims said.
At first, Mims said he tried moving the Bobcat with his bare hands.
"I tried to pull it off of him, but I couldn't," Mims said. "I couldn't move it. I couldn't move it."
So, he tied a heavy chain to another pickup and yanked the Bobcat away -- a move that rescuers say may have saved his friend's life.
"It wouldn't come back at first, so I put the truck in four-wheel drive and it pulled it back some, then it flipped it over" and off his friend, Mims said.
