Former police officer found not guilty in shooting of unarmed black teen

Former East Pittsburgh officer Michael Rosfeld was acquitted by a jury Friday on homicide charges. Rosfeld fatally shot the 17-year old Antwon Rose II in June 2018 when Rose attempted to flee during a traffic stop.

Rosfeld would have faced life in prison with combined homicide, voluntary and involuntary manslaughter charges if found guilty.

The jury reached its decision in under four hours, finding Rosfeld not guilty on all counts.
