How Spectrum Health stays open amid snowstorms

 

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Spectrum Health has opened its command center in response to the snowstorm that dumped several inches on West Michigan Monday.

The goal is to ensure that staff and supplies are available so the hospital can keep providing care.

"The hospital will remain open," Julie Bulson, the hospital's director of emergency preparedness, said Monday.
