GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — An event was held in Grand Rapids Saturday that was all about helping people experiencing homeless stay warm during winter.
Dirt City Sanctuary put on the Purple Backpack Project, where people in need received backpacks, sleeping bags, blankets, hats, gloves and other necessary items for the cold.
