Attention turns to new administration in Lansing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — With the election over, attention now turns to the remaining weeks of legislative session with the current legislature and governor.

Legislators are also looking ahead to a new administration and reconfigured House of Representatives and Senate.

Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof talked with 24 Hour News Eight Political Reporter Rick Albin about the developments in Lansing, including that for the first time in 16 years, someone with legislative experience will be in the governor's office.
