All 3 Michigan ballot proposals projected to pass

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — All three proposals on the ballot in Michigan are expected to pass, WOOD TV8 is projecting.

Proposal 1 will legalize the recreational use of marijuana. Under it, recreational marijuana would be regulated in essentially the same way as alcohol. You won't be allowed to use it if you're under 21 and it will still be illegal to drive under the influence.

Proposal 2 will change the way legislative districts are drawn. It will create a bipartisan commission made up of Republicans, Democrats and Independents to redraw the lines for U.S. Congress districts, as well as the districts for the state House and Senate. That commission will meet every 10 years.

Under Proposal 3, would automatically register people to vote when they renew their state-issued identification and allow them to request absentee ballots without a reason. It will also reinstate straight-ticket voting.
