Drain commissioner admits using county truck to campaign

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County drain commissioner admits he probably violated state laws when he used a county vehicle to hand out campaign literature.

Ken Yonker is part of group opposing a millage proposal in the Caledonia School District. He told 24 Hour News 8 he had trouble with his personal vehicle while handing out literature Saturday night in the Glen Valley neighborhood of Caledonia, so he hopped in his county truck. Some neighbors complained.
