Pedestrian hit and killed by vehicles in Kent County

OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A pedestrian died Saturday night after being hit by two vehicles in northeast Kent County.

It happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Lake Avenue NE and Macclain Street NE in Oakfield Township, near Greenville.

Deputies say 22-year-old Nicolaus Martin of Evart was walking on an unlit roadway when he was hit by a southbound car driven by a 17-year-old from Greenville. Authorities say that crash left Martin with fatal injuries.

Authorities say another driver then hit Martin and did not stop.
