1 Secretary of State Antony Blinken has given NATO allies the 'green-light' to send fighter jets to Ukraine as Western sanctions attempt to cripple Russia's economy.
Ukraine president Zelensky has renewed call for the West to do more - as Russian shelling appears to intensify and hospitals in Ukraine are overwhelmed (where have we heard that before?)
United Nations says at least 1.5 million Ukrainians have fled the country since the start of the Russian invasion.
2 US Gas Prices Hit $4 per Gallon for First Time Since 2008
Oil price jumped 9% to $130 a barrel in early trading this morning. Up 65% since Jan 1 per CNBC
In Michigan gas has jumped 42 cents / gallon compared to last week, setting a new 2022-high. That’s the highest since June 2013.
Drivers are paying $3.97 / gallon for regular unleaded. Up 60 cents since last month and $1.25 more than this time last year.
3 An Election integrity report from the Michigan Auditor general is out. The results are important.
The report finds 45,499 FEWER votes in the 2020 election than the official numbers.
This comes as a Wisconsin Special Counsel Alleges Massive Misconduct in 2020 Election and state reps in Arizona calling for decertification.
