GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) -You may hear gunfire as part of required training for the Grand Rapids Police Department.
The first session is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Another session will occur from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The training will run through April.
Sounds of gunfire are expected near Market Avenue and Interstate 196.
