GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Five West Michigan educators were recognized by the Van Andel Institute for Education in this year's Betty Van Andel Teachers of Excellence Award achievement.
Chris Conrad (Allegan), Kristin Oslund (Oakland), Coleen Shaltry (Big Rapids), Julia Wilcox (Cedar Springs) and Kelley Ziomkowski (Greenville) were all recipients of the award that honors educators across the country every year.
A total of 10 educators were honored for the achievement.
