The Big Three 10-21-22
1 It’s bad news for Michigan SOS, Jocelyn Benson. She lost again, in court.
Strike three for Benson.
Michigan Court of Claims Judge Brock Swartzle acknowledged she was breaking the law, again.
He’s ruled that Benson issued a Manual in May that violated the rights as poll challengers thereby infringing upon their ability to ensure the integrity of elections.
The most lawless Secretary of State was ordered to either “(1) rescind the May 2022 Manual in its entirety; (2) revise the May 2022 Manual to comply with this Opinion and Order or (3) revise an earlier iteration of the manual to comply with this opinion and order.”
This is the third time Michigan’s Secretary of State has been found by a court to violate Michigan election law. Previously, courts have ruled that Benson violated the law when she unilaterally relaxed signature verification requirements for absentee ballots and instituted a six-foot separation rule between poll challengers and poll workers. Benson has also fought to keep almost 26,000 dead voters on Michigan’s voter rolls as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation.
2 Tudor Dixon endorsements keep rolling in.
Just yesterday both the Detroit news and former Democrat, Tulsi Gabbard announced endorsements for the Republican candidate promising to put parents back in the driver’s seat for their kids, put more money back in your pocket to fight Biden-flation, and keep families safe all across the state by fighting crime.
3Advisers to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Oct. 20 recommended adding COVID-19 vaccines to the child and adolescent immunization schedules, despite the vaccines still being under emergency authorization for some children.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) cast the vote during a meeting on updating the schedules for youth and adults.
All members voted to add the Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax vaccines to the 2023 schedules, asserting that the vaccines, despite waning effectiveness, can still prevent severe disease.
