1 It’s a big win for parents and students last night in West Michigan as the Spring Lake school board voted 4-3 to remove the sexually explicit book, “Gender Queer” from the library.
Tensions were high at meetings across the state, again last night.
Parents objected to sexually explicit materials available to kids in schools.
"I want to be clear that my objection to the content of some of this book has nothing to do with the LGBTQ theme," said one of the parents who filed the complaint against the book.

Boston University scientists were today condemned for 'playing with fire' after it emerged they had created a lethal new Covid strain in a laboratory.
DailyMail.com revealed the team had made a hybrid virus — combining Omicron and the original Wuhan strain — that killed 80 per cent of mice in a study.
The revelation exposes how dangerous virus manipulation research continues to go on even in the US, despite fears similar practices may have started the pandemic.
