1 Debate night

The first of two debates in Michigan’s race for Governor happens tonight at 7 in Grand Rapids.

Finally, Whitmer will have to answer to the people of Michigan for the nursing home deaths, learning loss and mental health torture suffered by students, and the families that lost everything when she shut their ability to make a living down.

Challenger Tudor Dixon will look to hold her accountable as polls show the race tightening with Dixon gaining momentum.

2 Biden-flation is climbing.

The consumer price index Is out and at 8.2%

It ran ran hotter than expected in September, continuing to squeeze U.S. households and worsen a political headache for President Biden with just one month until midterm elections.

CNBC anchor Jim Cramer suggested the latest inflation number spells doom for President Joe Biden’s economy.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Wednesday that the Producer Price Index increased 0.4 percent in September, an increase of 0.1 percentage point from August. “Prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services advanced 0.4 percent in September, the largest rise since increasing 0.5 percent in May. For the 12 months ended in September, the index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services moved up 5.6 percent,”

3 It’s a dark day for freedom of speech..

Alex Jones and his company Free Speech systems have been ordered by a  Connecticut jury to pay nearly $1 billion to families of the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

Attorneys for the families alleged Jones repeatedly told listeners on his Infowars show that the attack was a hoax and the victims were crisis actors hired as part of a scheme to impose gun control laws.
