1 For the second month in a row, the Federal Reserve aggressively raised interest rates by three-quarters of a percentage point. Members of the central bank on Wednesday voted in favor of the rate hike to help ease inflation.
2 The Biden administration has proposed a prisoner swap to secure the release of two Americans held by Russia, Brittney Grinerand Paul Whelan. President Joe Biden has offered to exchange Viktor Bout, a convicted Russian arms trafficker serving a 25-year US prison sentence
3 Recession numbers are expected today even though the Biden admin is trying to change the definition.
